Zero detectable oil
Class 0 specifies that oil content must be lower than any measurable concentration at any operating condition. More stringent than Class 1 (max 0.01 mg/m³).
No oil in compression stage
AERZEN rotary lobe, screw, and turbo technologies use no oil in the compression chamber. Air never contacts lubricant — Class 0 is achieved by design, not filtration.
TÜV verified — all conditions
Class 0 certification from TÜV covers the full operating range: all load points, all ambient temperatures, all pressures within spec. Not tested at one condition only.
Required by pharma, food, electronics
ISO 22000, GMP, and semiconductor cleanroom standards require Class 0 air in product-contact zones.
Eliminates downstream filter maintenance
Oil-injected compressors with coalescing filters cannot guarantee Class 0 when filters age or fail. Oil-free design removes this single point of failure entirely.
